W/E 27.07.2024 - Ipswich Twilight 10k & EACCL Summer Race 1

First up on our weekly review we look back to Wednesday last week for the first race of the Summer EACCL - East Anglian Cross Country League season – 3 WAC runners travelled up to the North Norfolk coast to Cart Gap in the sunshine. Claire Brown was first WACer home and first female home overall🥇🏆 – Claire was followed by Kevin Denmark & then Tony Beales, who were 2nd 🥈M65 & 🥈M55 respectively. Well done you three.

Next up was from last Friday night was the Ipswich Twilight Races 10k – again we had 3 WACers traversing around the 2 lap course of the town. First home for WAC was Claire Kent in a time of 40:53 followed by Jo Delf (41:32) who finished 1st 🥇F40 and then Rachael Lockwood (56:11). Well done everyone!
