W/E 26.10.24 - Ironman California & Grafham Water Duathlon

After the bumper weekly reviews of the last few weeks, a slightly shorted one this week – First up we take a look at our members who took on multi-sport events this weekend;

**IRONMAN California**

We had a solo member representative on the 🦅west coast🌉 of the 🇺🇸states🇺🇸 for this IRONMAN – this ful ironman distance triathlon (Swim🏊‍♀️ 2.4m, bike 🚴 112m and run 🏃 26.2m - a full marathon to finish after being on the bike for over 100 miles 😱) was held in the California city of Sacramento and Paul Fairchild flew around in a time of 13hrs 2min & 24secs - Well done Paul! 🙌🏻

Next up and slightly closer to home;

**Grafham Water Duathlon**

No swimming was involved within this event hosted by ATW as the three WACers, Kevin Frazer, Stephen Dixon & Maria Boyall Lewis, competed on foot and on the bike only. The event included a 10k run 🏃, 38k cycle 🚴 and finished off with another run of 5k 🏃. First home for WAC was Kev (2:25:50), followed by Steve (2:32:38) and Maria (2:44:55) – Well done you lot! 🙌🏻
