W/E 25.05.2024 - Holt 10k - Sportlink GP series Race 7

Last on our weekly review – we look back to Sunday before last and the 7th race in the Sportlink GP series.

**Holt 10k 2024**

We had 27 WAC members travel to North Norfolk for the Holt 10k hosted by North Norfolk Beach Runners out of Gresham's School ; all enjoyed the lovely 🌧☔️soggy☔️🌧 conditions to run around the beautiful surroundings of the Holt countryside.

First home for WAC was Kevin Holland in a time of 34:27, followed by Chris Gay (35:44) and Ben Beynon (36:12). Our first three WAC females were Claire Woodcroft  (44:23), closely followed by Ami Marie Russell (PB 🎖️– 44:24) & Eloise Peek  (44:24) – looks like it was a close photo finish between them all!

Congratulations to Ami (PB 🎖️) and also Kevin Simpson, who registered yet another PB🎖️ with a time of 43:58 this time – Well done you two!

We also had numerous age category finishers; Kevin Holland 3rd overall🥉🏆, Chris Gay 3rd 🥉MO, Chris Bullock 1st🥇M50-54 (37:34), Billy Wheeler 2nd🥈M50-54 (38:24), Yitzhak Ben-aroya  2nd🥈M65-69 (43:09), Claire Woodcroft 1st🥇F40, Claire Brown 1st🥇F60-64 (44:45), Stephen Dady 3rd🥉M70-74 (47:06), Graham Walsh 1st🥇M75+ (48:56) & the legend that is Eva Osborne – 1st🥇F75+ (62:19) – Well done to all that ran – it looked horrible conditions within the beautiful pictures from Dreampace! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 #TeamWAC 💜🤍💜🤍
