First up this week we go back to a ☀️sunny☀️ Wednesday evening on the coast.
**Great Yarmouth 5 mile series Race 3 **
The last of the 5 mile series hosted by Great Yarmouth Road Runners did not disappoint – no matter the result on the evening, the fish and chips🐠🍟 were enjoyed by the WAC faithful!
We had 44 members venture to the coast🏖 and first back on the evening was James Fowler flying in with a new PB time of 28:24, followed by Matt Webster (28:37) & Josh Castlo-Hall (29:16). Our first WAC female was Kate Gooding , also achieving another PB time for the year of 32:14, followed by Jo Delf (32:36) & Claire Brown (35:06).
Joining James & Kate on the PB train were four other members; Josh Brown (PB🎖️ – 31:17), Michelle Sadler (PB🎖️ – 45:52), Gillian Snook (PB🎖️ – 49:49) & Laura Seville (PB🎖️ – 57:27) – Well done you all; however the biggest congratulations goes to Dennis Carter who set a new Club Record🏅 for the M85 age category with a time of 52:51 – Great work Dennis! 🙌🏻
Plenty of age category finishes also to celebrate; James Fowler celebrated his new PB with a 2nd🥈 M45-49, Stephen Woodcroft 3rd🥉 M40-44 (29:35), David Houghton 2nd🥈 M50-54 (30:27), Chris Bullock 3rd🥉 M50-54 (30:31), Kate Gooding 1st🥇 F40-44, Jon Shorten 1st🥇 M55-59 (32:18), Jo Delf 2nd🥈 F40-44, Ian Moore 2nd🥈 M55-59 (32:41), Claire Brown 1st🥇 F60-64, Graham Walsh 3rd🥉 M75+ (39:30) & Kevin Denmark 3rd🥉 M65-69 (40:04).
