W/E 18.11.23 - XC & round up

Next up on our weekly we round-up the week: -
**EACCL Race 2 – Mousehold Heath** The second race of the season saw the WAC XC mob take on the hilly inner city course from Mousehold with the little surprise from Mark Philo of Tri-Anglia with a reverse course this season – 1st home for WAC was Juliette Watkinson, followed quickly by Alexandra Ely & Alison Armstrong to form our Team A for the day and cement our strong start to the season. Our Team A for the day were Matt Webster, David Houghton, William Parker & Adrian Hall.
**Hadleigh 10 mile & St Neots Riverside Half Marathon** Kate Gooding made the trip to Suffolk to take on the Hadleigh Hares Hadleigh 10 miler – she registered an amazing time of 69:46 on a hilly and very windy course to finish 3rd female overall & 1st F40. Well done Kate! Just over the border in Cambridgeshire Mark Armstrong & Harriet Carr took on the half marathon in St. Neots Riverside Runners Half Marathon – both registered amazing time with Mark first home in a time of 88:40 and a new PB just before Harriet return in 90:36. Well done to the both of you!
** West Acre Wild 10k Challenge ** We had 5 members take on the wet and wild West Acre course, a new race for the 2023/24 season – First home for WAC (even with his little detour) was Matt Webster. First WAC female home was Claire Brown who was 2nd female overall just before Maria Lewis who was 3rd female. Well done to you all however it looks like you had a very fun time anyways! #TeamWAC
