Next up on our weekly review; an event literally just up the road on our New Year's Day 10k (NYD10k) course;
**EAMA 10k**
The event hosted by Broadland District Council & South Norfolk District Council and sponsored by East Anglian Motor Auctions is well supported by the WAC community via racing 🏃♀️🏃 or marshalling 🦺📢 due to the close proximity to the town.
First home for WAC was Steven Mcnicholas in a time of 36:07, finishing 5th overall. Steven was followed quickly home by James Fowler (37:17) & Chris Bullock (37:20). Our first three WAC females home were Christina Sharpe (50:32), Susan Guest (51:45) & Elise Aho (AGPB🎖 - 52:35).
We had 6 🚨shiny🚨 new Personal bests to report from Sunday, along with our new Age grade personal bests. Our Club point coordinator has devised a system to keep track of each member’s quickest time in their current age category, therefore rewarding our members for their hardwork even if their previous overall PB’s might be out of reach – thank you for your hardwork Kevin Frazer. Our personal bests on the day were registered by; Ben Smith (PB🎖️ – 40:45), Ben Shearing (PB🎖️ – 48:04), Thomas Sandy (PB🎖️ - 48:39), Becky Stringer (PB🎖️ - 56:46), Ka Trina Minns (PB🎖️ – 57:61) & Kelly Starling (PB🎖️ – 60:46). Also the first of our new Age grade Personal Bests were;– Steven McNicholas (AGPB🎖️), Kevin Frazer (AGPB🎖️ – 41:18), Raymond Gayne (AGPB🎖️ – 49:31), Elise Aho (AGPB🎖️ – 52:35), David Evans (AGPB🎖️ – 53:47) & Jo Rayner (AGPB🎖️ – 64:53). Well done to all of you!
