This week on our weekly review we look back over a wide varied of distances our members took part in. Firstly we head south of the boarder for Essex20 championships.
**Essex20 including the Inter-counties Championship**
A male & female 🇩🇪Athletics Norfolk🇩🇪 team travelled to ✈️Debden airfield✈️ into North Essex for the Essex 20 mile race including the inter-county championship hosted by ATW – WAC was represented by Chris Gay and Harriet Carr, who took on the tough windy conditions💨🏃🏃♀️🌧 on the day. Chris was first WAC home in a time of 2:02:22 followed by Harriet (2:10:54), who was 1st 🇩🇪Norfolk 🇩🇪 lady home and finished 9th lady overall. Both representing the club and county extremely well in tough conditions – well done you two! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 #TeamWAC 💜🤍💜🤍
Next up we travel back up the M11 into Norfolk and to Thetford.
**🐰Bunny 5k run🐰 **
On the other end of the running distance spectrum, we had 5 runners take part in the annual Thetford 🐰Bunny 5k fun run🐰 hosted brilliant, as always, by Run Breckland. The 5k route around the historic market town included 5 WACers in various fancy dress 🐰🐔🐥🐤🐣🐇outfits – first home for was 🌼 Charlotte Richardson 🌼, 🌼Rachael Lockwood🌼 & 🌼 Lyn Ottaway🌼 all finishing in 31:58, followed by 🐰Gillian Snook🐰 (39:10) & 🐥Clare Suter🐥 (46:32). Well done to all – some brilliant outfits!
