Next up on our weekly review we look back to the Spring Blickling half marathon;
**Spring Blickling Half Marathon **
The bi-annual half marathon event hosted by EPIC Norfolk - Exercising People In Communities Norfolk around the Blickling area hosted their Spring trail version on Sunday – the two loop course around the Blickling Hall estate encompasses the 🛤trail paths🛤 around the 🪵🌳🌿beautiful countryside🌿🌳🪵 and some lovely hills ⛰. First home for WAC was William Parker (91:30) followed by first WAC female Eloise Peek (1:44:38).
Although not an official PB course due to being a trail event – three runners managed to eclipse their personal bests over the half marathon distance: - Eloise Peek , James Heaney (1:54:52) & Michelle Sadler (2:12:46) – unfortunately no emoji medal for your pain, just the ‘doff of our cap’ at your achievement and good luck on the road next time around. Another doff to Kevin Denmark , who was 3rd 🥉M65+ on the day with his time of 1:53:21, and debutant Lian Penson – first time with the WAC vest💜🤍 on – welcome to the crew!
