Next up on our weekly review we run through the rest of our WAC 💜🤍 family activities starting the furthest from home;
** Reading Half Marathon and Green Park Challenge**
The race that starts and finishes in the Reading Football Club stadium circulates the Reading area along the way – first home for WAC was Will Parker in a PB 🎖️ time of 90:46 before Rachael Lockwood completed the WAC representation with a time of 2:21:17.
Slightly close to home;
** Jane Tomlinson's Run For All City of Lincoln 10k**
Our WAC representatives for the day were the husband and wife duo of Kevin Powles & Lauraine Powles – Kevin was first back in a time of 45:56 before Lauraine finished in a time of 64:05.
Next we travel to the local race from this weekend – the Bungay Festival of Running hosted by Bungay Black Dog Running Club ;
**Bungay Black Dog 10k**
The shorter race of the Bungay festival of running – first home for WAC was John Cracknell (36:27) followed by Ross Palgrave (38:23), Kevin Simpson (45:17), Dave Evans (55:34) & Clare Suter (56:26) – Well done all!
**Bungay Half marathon**
First home for WAC on the day was Jason Hurst (93:02) just before Jo Delf romped home in a PB 🎖️ time of 95:49, who was first WAC female home and first female home overall🏆🥇! Next home was Dan Brocklehurst (95:50) before our next placing member; Claire Woodcroft (PB 🎖️ – 97:41) who was 2nd F40 after Jo but 3rd Female home overall🏆🥉. Rachel Birrell flew home in at time of 1:46:27 and completed the WAC 1🥇, 2🥈 & 3 🥉in the F40 category. Other members racing on the day was Peter Morgan (1:46:40), Heath Alexander-Bew (1:47:05), Kevin Wright (1:47:53), Sarah Whiting (2:2514) & Andy Olive (2:33:22).
