Next up on this weekly review we look back at the 5th race of the Sportlink Specialist Sports Ltd Grand Prix series – the Aylsham 10k hosted by our friends Aylsham Runners – always a wonderful event and this year didn’t disappoint. 20 WAC runners made their way up to North Norfolk to take on the rural 10k course in the warm sunshine 🌞.
First back for WAC was Chris Gay (35:14) and first female home was Claire Woodcroft (44:10). No personal bests were achieved on the day, which proved how warm it was ! However, there were plenty of age category placings; Chris Gay 3rd 🥉MO, Chris Bullock 1st 🥇M50-54 (36:39), Ian Moore 3rd 🥉M55-59 (41:29), Yitzhak Ben-aroya 2nd 🥈M65-69 (43:38), Claire Woodcroft 1st 🥇F40-44, Stephen Dady 2nd 🥈M70-74 (47:55) & Graham Walsh 1st 🥇M75+ (48:33).
