W/E 03.08.2024 - Snetterton 5k & 10k event

This week on our weekly review we go over the three events from last week;

**Snetterton 5k & 10k event**

The event hosted at the 🏎🏍 Snetterton race circuit 🏎🏍 by Good Running Events Ltd. events last Wednesday evening 19 WACers turned up – 18 runners took on the double lap 10k however our single representative in the 5k event was Louise Stevens 🎖. Louise finished 6th female overall and finished with a nice shiny 🚨PB🚨 of 20:29 – well done Louise!

First home for our 10k runners was Matt Goode in a time of 41:22, followed by Kevin Frazer (41:32) & Craig Skipper (43:44). First female WACer was Ami Russell (44:57) followed by Claire Brown (46:01) & Susan Guest (50:43).

We had two new shiny 🚨Personal Bests🚨 registered on the day, these were – Thomas Sandy (PB 🎖️– 48:53) & Helen Pidgeon (PB 🎖️– 50:49). Our age category winners on the evening were Kevin Frazer 1st 🥇M60-64, Ami Russell 3rd 🥉Senior Female, Claire Brown 1st 🥇F60-64 & Susan Guest 2nd 🥈F60-64.

Other runners on the evening were Richard Broughton (44:30), Kevin Simpson (45:19), Robbie Starling (45:50), Raymond Gayne (46:11), Keith Blake (47:19), Hannah John (50:43), David Evans (57:58), Katrina Minns (58:29), Kelly Starling 67:17 & Jonathan Eagle (70:47).
