Sportlink GP 2024 Race 1 - Reedham 10 miler

Sunday saw the return of the Sportlink Grand Prix Series 2024 - the first race of the year was the Reedham 10 miler hosted by Great Yarmouth and District AC.

We had a large field of 45 WAC runners - some tough running conditions with hills and strong wind, however some brilliant running all round; especially from the newly re-joined Kyle Brooks (PB - 55:41) back in WAC colours for the first time and finishing first WAC home & first home overall 🥇 🏆, closely followed by Kevin Holland (57:44) in 5th overall and then Steven McNicholas (PB – 58:26). The first WAC female home was Harriet Carr (63:35) who finished 4th female overall followed by Lisa Greengrass (PB - 75:08) and then Louise Stevens (PB – 82:22).

There were Personal bests on the day for Kyle Brooks🎖️, Steven McNicholas🎖️, Craig Skipper🎖️ (PB - 70:39), Lisa Greengrass🎖️, Louise Stevens🎖️ & Joe Woodley 🎖️ (PB - 92:36).
