Early December Race reviews

After neglecting the weekly reviews throughout December – busy time with the big man 🎅 due to arrive! We will have a whirlwind catch up all the action our members were involved in. The second weekend of December saw our members involved in Santa Races from Gorleston & Thetford.

**Gorleston 🎅Santa Dash🎅**

Out East Team Seville took on the seaside run organised by St Elizabeth Hospice, with Tim (20:30) 4th home overall & 1st🥇M65 with Laura (PB 🎖️– 33:30) collecting a new shiny Personal best – Well done you two! 🙌🏻

**Run Breckland 🎅Santa Run🎅**

The event hosted by Run Breckland in central Thetford saw numerous families take on the 5k event in fancy dress – Well done Team Powles, Armstrong, Boyall & Kate Gooding for their efforts on the day – Team Webster taking home first place 🏆🥇with mini Webster accompanying Matt in the buggy in a time of 20:31. 🙌🏻

**'Twas the run before 🎄Christmas🎄 Half Marathon **

On the same weekend of the Santa runs Keith Blake headed to Brandon Country park for a trail half marathon hosted by Zig Zag Running Group – Keith finished in a time of 1:52:54 and a 3rd 🥉🏆 place finish – well done Keith! 🙌🏻

**Bauble Bimble Half marathon**

The week after (3rd weekend of December) Keith was at it again, this time dragging Robbie Starling along for a Zigzag running event – this time the Bauble Bimble half marathon – Both making it around in a time of 1hr & 47mins for 11th & 12th place respectively – Well done guys! 🙌🏻

**Kettering Christmas 10k**

On the same weekend – Todd Lake travelled to Kettering to take part in the 🎄Christmas🎄 10k. Todd completed the course in a time of 46:46 – even after coming up lame on the penultimate lap – finishing 10th overall & 1st🥇M60. Well done Todd and we hope to see you back running at full speed soon! 🙌🏻

**Telford 10k**

Lastly on our first part of this review we congratulate Aidan Banfield for his new 🚨shiny🚨 Personal best🎖️ but yet another Club record 🏅for this year as Aidan broke the overall club 10k record with a time of 31:25 in an extremely strong field. Well done Aidan on your amazing time! 🙌🏻
