EACCL XC - Race 6, 7 & 8

Next up on our weekly review & our XC catch-up, we review the previous EACCL - East Anglian Cross Country League races from the last month – First up was Race 6;
**EACCL Race 6 – Ladybelt Country Park**
In early February we hosted our XC event; organised again for its second year running out of the Ladybelt Country Park. We had 18 runners competing; 8 of these were in the Long course where our scoring Team A were Matt Webster (2nd🥈🏆 overall), Adam Baker , David Powles and Adrian Hall . Well done also to Craig Skipper , Sean Thompson, Steve Bird & Robert Scarfe. 🙌🏻

In the short course race our scoring Team A were Juliette Watkinson , who was first lady home overall 🥇🏆, with Alexandra Ely and Lisa Greengrass . Well done also to Claire Brown , Graham Walsh, Tracie Draeger , Tracy Stevens , Amanda Gray & Rodney Freeburn. 🙌🏻
A big thank you to our organising duo of Keith Blake & XC Captain Tony Beales , along with the many helpers & Marshals throughout the club which made for the well organised event! 🙌🏻
**EACCL Race 7 – Woburn Farm**
A week later and our XC bunch headed out east to a new venue at Woburn Farm , Corton. WAC had 15 members competing; 7 of these were in the Long course where our scoring Team A were Adam Baker, Dave Powles, Sean Thompson and Adrian Hall. Well done also to Tony Beales, Steve Bird & Robert Scarfe. 🙌🏻

In the short course race our scoring Team A were Jet, who again was first lady home overall 🥇🏆, followed by Claire Brown and Tracie Draeger. Well done also to Graham Walsh, Jo Rayner , Amanda Gray, Peter Roach & Tracey Salisbury . 🙌🏻
**EACCL Race 8 – Whitwell Station**
The end of February saw the WAC XC enthusiasts head back to Whitwell station following the earlier appearance of the venue for Race 4 in the EACCL race calendar. However this time the 15 WAC members competed on the course that did not cross the river this time unlike before Christmas; 6 members took on the Long course and our scoring Team A were Adam Baker, Dave Powles, Adrian Hall & Steve Bird. Well done also to Keith Blake & Tony Beales. 🙌🏻
