W/E 20.07.2024 - Boudicca Way 50k Ultra & Felixstowe Triathlon

Elsewhere last Sunday we had an ultra-marathon and triathlon taking place;

**Boudicca Way Ultra 2024**

he Inaugural event from Diss to Norwich along Boudicca Way was hosted by Boghopper Races Ltd and was attended by 4 WAC members. Mark Banfield was first home for WAC in a time of 5:16:36 to finish 11th overall & 2nd 🥈M50. Mark was followed home by James Birch (5:49:41), Mark Tufts (7:04:39) & Sue Stirling (7:59:59) in some very warm conditions on the day! Great running you 4! 🙌🏻

**Felixstowe Triathlon**

Two enthusiastic members of the club ventured down to the South Suffolk 🏖coastal town🏖 of Felixstowe for their annual tri event – Julia Kennelly taking on the Standard (1500m 🏊‍♀️sea swim, 41km 🚴‍♀️cycle & 10km 🏃‍♀️run) and Jamie Harris the sprint version (750m 🏊sea swim, 20.5km 🚴cycle & 5km 🏃run). Jules returned in a time of 3:21:00 and Jamie Harris finished 7th overall & 2nd 🥈Male senior in a time of 1:18:23 in the sprint event. Well done you two! 🙌🏻
