W/E 04.05.2024 - Silverstone 10k, England representative at Birmingham 10k & Geneva Marathon.

Catching up from the week before; we first head to the midlands nearly a fortnight ago – Gavin Hall took part in the 🏎 Silverstone Grand Prix 10K Race 🏎 on Wednesday 1st May. Within a large field on a warm night, Gavin made it around in a time of 50:02 – Well done Gavin! 🙌🏻

Next up we travel to the 🇨🇭 Switzerland 🇨🇭 city of Geneva for the Generali Genève Marathon - Gareth Seville travelled to central Europe to tick off his sub-3 hour goal. Even though it was a nice warm day Gareth managed his goal and a nice new shiny Marathon PB 🎖 with a brilliant time of 2:59:11 – Well done Gareth! 🙌🏻

Back in central England and one of our WACers had the great honour of putting on an 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England Athletics 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿veterans Vest in the Great Birmingham Run 10k – Susan Guest ran proudly around the city of Birmingham in a time of 51:28 – fantastic work Susan! 🙌🏻
